August 2007 Art and Craft Exhibition

If you visited the Friends of St Mary's Church 2007 Art and Craft Exhibition we think that you will have appreciated this event. You will have:

• Looked at 251 pictures in various media
• Browsed the many and varied items on 12 craft stalls
• Watched a local watercolour artist at work
• Perhaps placed a bid in the silent auction
• Probably enjoyed a drink and a bite to eat

If you weren’t there… well, there’s always next year!

The Friends sincerely thank all those who contributed in any way: artists, crafts people, picture hangers and screen movers, cake makers and those who manned the refreshment stall, stewards… and especially those who supported the event and in so doing made it such an enjoyable social event for all. Together we raised approximately £1,500 which will be used in the ongoing work of the Friends of St Mary’s Church.
