Friends Christmas Sale (mid November) - details to follow.


Past Events

We welcomed several hundred visitors to St Mary's Church over this two day event. We thank all of you for your support and hope that you enjoyed your time with us.

In particular we wish to thank the many artists who between them provided some 270 paintings, alongside the craft artists who again set out splendid displays; wood turning, silverware, jewelry and soft furnishings to name but a few. We are grateful to Alan Colledge for his demonstrations of the art of watercolour painting and to the representatives of The Lace Guild who quietly performed their mystical art.

Sales income from the above plus income from refreshments, quiz etc enabled the Friends to make a profit of over £1,600 which in due course will be put to good use supporting the preservation and evolution of St Mary's Church building and environment.

This was the last art and craft exhibition for which our friend Richard Parsons took on the role of artistic director. We thank him and wish him and his wife well as they move house.
