Christmas Fair - November 2009
Thank you to all braved the weather to join in. Craft stalls included wooden toys, woodwork, needlecraft, ceramics, jewellery, candles, prints, stationery, soft furnishings, cakes and preserves. Tea, coffee and cakes were consumed with a passion. We browsed and purchased some unique Christmas items and together raised nearly £1,400 in support of St Mary's Church. Brilliant!
This year we are grateful to John Maxwell Jones of Burgess Stores, Goudhurst, for kindly sponsoring and judging the children's art competition, and, of course, to all those of differing ages who got busy with their crayons, paints, glue and glitter to produce so many Christmas trees. We hope that you enjoyed doing so and all your efforts are on display in the church as well as via the links below.
Our special thanks to any including the craft stall holders and heavy squad who were nearly drowned or blown half way to Essex in what was a true hooligan of a squall whilst we were packing up. We hope to see you all again next year!
