Autumn Newsletter 2009
Christmas Fair - Sat 14th Nov 2009, 10am – 1pm
There will be an excellent selection of craft stalls. The Friends will be running a gift stall & cake & produce stall. If you would like to donate any items for the gift stall please bring them to the Church on the morning of the sale before 9.30am or contact Eileen Jackson. For cakes, preserves or any other homemade goodies contact Andrea Kirkby. The Fair is a great opportunity to purchase some lovely Christmas gifts. Please try & support us & bring along your friends. We are also holding a Children’s Art Competition “ Decorate a Christmas Tree“. Completed entries should then be brought to the Christmas Fair before 11.00am. Judging will be at 12.00pm in 3 age groups - under 5, 6-8 and 9-11. The winner in each group will receive a prize. The competition has been kindly sponsored by Burgess Stores.
After requests last year we are also holding an Adults Competition, so get out your colouring pens, glue & glitter & get creative! Should anyone like to enter who has not already received a sheet (these will be available from the Church on the Bread Tomb) please contact Barbara Payne. We look forward to receiving your entries.
